About This Page
This page features cows, shown with responsive art direction so the image changes to suit the size of your screen. Each photo was cut out from its original background and saved as a transparent PNG.
On mobile (small.png) you see a tight close-up of a brown and white calf looking straight at the camera, so its face stays clear on a narrow screen. On tablet (medium.png) you see a wider head-and-shoulders portrait of a horned cow with its ear tags. On desktop (large.png) you see the widest composition: a full-body cow grazing, which uses the extra space on a large monitor.
The background image (bg.jpg), applied with CSS, is an open grassy pasture. It gives the cut-outs a natural setting that matches where cows actually live, so the transparent PNGs look at home rather than floating on a blank page.
